A New Years Day Poem...
I went for a run today.
Down by Niantic Bay.
It was cold, I must say.
Windy, too -- all day.
Nice to get out and test new running gear.
Got to get in those miles, without fear.
Beautiful ocean views despite the wind shear.
What a great way to start the new year!

Adam, were you part of the Polar Bear Club that runs with Jim Kelly (the marathon guy) and then dips into the freezing ocean? They do that somewhere in Niantic, I think...

No, sadly, I was not part of that group of runners. That was in Mystic. I was in Niantic.
I was out there for a few miles yesterday and boy was it cold (and windy). Anyone who set foot in the waters of the sound yesterday has my respect.
